Philosophy

I received my Bachelors of Science in Communication Technology from EMU in 2016 specializing in video and graphic communication. Throughout my undergraduate education, I studied and became certified as a yoga instructor,  a licensed massage therapist, and a certified personal trainer/group fitness instructor. I have experience as a pain free movement coach, as well as certification in Mindful Resiliency, specifically working with veterans suffering from PTSD.  The Masters of Public Health Program at EMU is a culmination of my skills and interests in serving the population with a holistic approach to health and wellness.

It is my goal to do justice for human life, all being equal and independently valuable. It is self-evident that to enjoy a fulfilling and peaceful life, a safe environment in mind, body, and spirit must be fostered. I seek to promote personal freedom, support recovery and healing, and cultivate a holistic and pain-free lifestyle by encouraging balance between the many facets that create one's identity. I choose to protect the planet and in so doing, defend the integrity and sanctity of all life. By way of empathetic and considerate engagement I will educate and advocate for preventative measures and positive behavioral change. Through my own synergistic intentions and actions I strive to set an example of health and wellness with thoughtful awareness and respect for the many and varying peregrinations of life, and above all, to do no harm.

May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all.
